Putting Producers First: AGR Visits VAS to Explore Dairy Innovation

By Guido Kinds

Senior Business Development Manager

Agriculture plays an essential and unifying role in ensuring a stable and safe food supply globally. Farmers rely on the right tools and technology to care for their animals and produce high-quality dairy products. At VAS, we’re proud to support farmers across the world using DairyComp to help them manage their herds effectively.

During the week of March 24, our partners from Alta Genetics Russia (AGR), who lead VAS initiatives in their region, traveled to the U.S. to learn about industry best practices, strengthen relationships, and explore new growth opportunities. They were joined by the head of DairyComp for EkoNiva—an impressive data-driven organization that manages more than 100,000 milking cows and was founded on the visionary approach of a dedicated German farmer.

During their visit, the team toured Kinnard Farms and Jerseyland Dairy near Green Bay, Wisconsin to witness VAS’ ParlorBoss in action. This cutting-edge tool helps farms with rotary parlors ensure cows receive the right care with greater efficiency and less labor. By providing producers with hands-on exposure to innovative technology like ParlorBoss, we reinforce our commitment to Customer Centricity—delivering solutions that enhance farm management through unique and personalized experiences.

A huge thank you to AGR for their ongoing commitment to supporting farmers and ensuring that we can contribute to URUS’ mission of Better Cows for a Better World.

And, of course, no trip to Wisconsin would be complete without rocking a Packers cheese head—GO PACKERS!
