URUS CFO
URUS and its predecessors have always had sound and reliable Finance. It’s been a bedrock—helping each of our operating companies (OpCo), now referred to as Brands, focus their efforts, align with their unique missions, and ultimately deliver value to the producers we serve.
Over the years, Finance has steadily supported innovation, ensured accuracy, and created clarity where there could easily be complexity. Whether guiding the business investment decisions, helping enhance customer offerings, or supporting local teams with solid processes—Finance has been there.
Now, as URUS enters a new chapter—shifting focus from the OpCo lead team to regional strength supported by powerful global brands—finance, too, is evolving.
This transition is more than an organizational shift; it’s an opportunity to grow with the business and serve it even better. By aligning more closely with global functions and embracing a unified approach, our Finance Team is stepping into a new role that supports and accelerates our journey toward long-term success.
We are moving from a self contained team for all aspects of Finance to teams of specialists who can provide targeted, strategic support across all functions. This means adopting global standards—how we close the books, calculate reserves, and report performance—so we’re all speaking the same language. That consistency will make it easier to compare results, measure progress, and identify opportunities across the business. It should even help the teams perform better than before as each will now have dedicated support.
Most importantly, finance can help you do your job better. For our commercial teams, that might mean new insights into identifying and capturing market opportunities. It could mean better visibility across sites to pinpoint where improvements will have the biggest impact on operations. For Research & Development, it opens the door to comparing project potential at a higher level to decide where to invest time and resources. For our Controllership teams, this new model strengthens our ability to transact efficiently, reliably, and confidently—no matter where we are in the world.
A stronger Finance function makes URUS stronger—both behind the scenes and out in front.
The transformation of Finance is not a one-time change. It’s a journey. While speed, accuracy, and reliability in transactions will always be essential, the future of Finance lies in its ability to provide insights, drive performance, and shine a light on what matters most.
By focusing on key performance indicators and eliminating metrics that no longer serve us, Finance will help keep the organization aligned and accountable. And if Finance succeeds in this new role, every part of URUS will benefit.
We’re building something that will support today’s business and fuel tomorrow’s growth.
